Why are we doing the dual-stat thing in OD2?

Hi Damian, we are doing it because the DW fanbase is currently tiny. All the numbers we have suggest that it is too tiny to support Magnum Opus for any length of time and there is a real danger of everything tanking.

So we decided we needed a cross-roads; a place where people interested in a much larger and more successful game could come and visit and maybe get interested in DW or Legend: there are a lot of people out there looking for a new game to play after 4E D&D turned out to be not quite what they expected. We want to try and get new people interested in the game and if you have any suggestions for how to do this, then we would like to hear them.

I'm mainly just plugging DW on every single rpg forum I can find, even the dead looking ones. I've had a few that have bought the core after they saw my posts, I'm working on getting reviews up at all the sites but its a slow process. ( plus my reviews suck)

I'm new to DW and I have to say, I'm in it for Legend mostly. I'd love to give the system a try but getting others into it would be difficult. Using another system like Savage Worlds is the only way I'll get to run the Lands of Legend so I'll be porting the setting to that ruleset.

SW's Showdow rules would be awesome to run some large scale battles between the various countries. Hmmmm.
